Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed preliminary interviews and thorough assessments, documenting each client's journey from their initial contact through the end of treatment. \n
- Evaluate each client's mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify areas of need. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies for clients, encompassing individuals, couples, families, and groups. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and personal growth. \n
- Regularly monitor and assess each client's progress relevant to their treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. \n
- Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, which may include other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers, ensuring comprehensive care. \n
- Perform follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization, assisting with transition and care continuity upon their return. \n
- Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively mitigate risks that may disrupt the healing process. \n
- Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges that affect their loved ones. \n
Our clients range across various demographics, including those facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction disorders. As a mental health counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, providing culturally competent care that addresses not only the individuals’ needs but also considers family dynamics and social influences that impact mental health.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. \n
- Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE). \n
- Proficient use of electronic health record systems, ideally with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms. \n

- Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling, particularly in a community health clinic or similar setting. \n
- Familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and a strong understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices. \n
- Knowledge of the effects of prescribed medications in the context of mental health treatment and recovery. \n
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the capacity to foster trust and rapport with clients. \n
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
