Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, determining appropriate treatment plans to address their unique needs.

• Providing graduate-level clinical interventions and therapy, including evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a focus on achieving individualized service plans.

• Effectively communicating treatment progress and interdisciplinary care plans through detailed documentation and participation in collaborative meetings, such as patient rounds.

• Offering case management services, which require consultation with community and hospital professionals to ensure patients get comprehensive care.

• Maintaining timely and ethical documentation in accordance with departmental policies, facilitating transparency and accountability in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve range from adolescents to adults dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, family conflict, and behavioral challenges. Your ability to respond sensitively and competently to their psychosocial needs will be crucial in creating a supportive environment conducive to healing.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following:

• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• Possess a minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; further graduate education is preferred.

• Be open to working between 5 to 40 hours (or more) a week to meet the needs of our flexible outpatient service.

Preferred Experience\n

We value additional expertise that enhances our clinical approach. Experience in Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Care, or specialized training in different therapeutic modalities will be beneficial. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is also advantageous for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
