Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily duties will revolve around providing trauma-informed mental health care. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that allow patients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Executing crisis interventions and providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Providing education to patients and their families about trauma responses and available community resources to support recovery.

• Engaging in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and foster collaborative care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients experiencing various trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and complex trauma, promoting healing for diverse individuals within the community. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

We invite candidates with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly those familiar with trauma-focused therapy techniques and the nuances of working in a community health clinic setting. Compensation and Benefits\n
