Work Environment\n

This position allows the flexibility of remote work while being integrated into a collaborative outpatient setting. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience, employing evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated and holistic care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources in a compassionate and accessible manner.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focusing on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices related to trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population you will serve includes adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, including domestic violence, childhood abuse, combat-related trauma, and natural disasters. Our focus is to provide these individuals with the support they need to navigate their healing journeys and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-related treatment.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward patients.

• The ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, managing crises inherently linked to trauma therapy.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology for documentation and patient management.
\n
• Ability to collaborate closely as part of a multidisciplinary team, enhancing interconnected patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
