Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and determine suitable treatment options.

• Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and the enhancement of resilience in each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address specific patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their experiences, build coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care across different disciplines.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, offering timely and effective support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to enhanced patient care and organizational objectives.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, strategies, and best practices focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy to continuously improve treatment approaches and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your practice will be individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, or associated dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through their healing journeys, providing compassionate support and practical strategies to foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma recovery.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate, non-judgmental approach in patient interactions.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software.
\n
• Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collective patient care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
