Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to gather comprehensive insights into patients’ trauma histories and their unique needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and build resilience, aligning strategies to meet each client’s specific goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring methods to individual client circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma experiences, developing coping strategies, and enhancing emotional regulation skills.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, fellow therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care plan.

• Provide critical crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a calm and structured response.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, the healing process, and available mental health resources to create a supportive network for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New Jersey.

• A proven track record with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience focused on trauma-informed therapy.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and an array of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
