While your primary work location is remote, you will occasionally connect with colleagues to discuss patient care strategies and attend virtual meetings.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health evaluations to accurately assess individuals' trauma histories and appropriate pathways for treatment.

• Develop and implement customized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring they're grounded in current best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide therapeutic support to patients to aid in processing their traumatic experiences, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and specialized team members to formulate and execute comprehensive, integrated treatment plans.

• Respond effectively in crisis situations, providing immediate assistance and stabilization during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to aid in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all records are up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at our clinic, you will specialize in working with individuals affected by different kinds of trauma. This includes clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma stemming from abuse or neglect, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve establishing trust and rapport with clients, which is essential for effective therapy, especially in a virtual setting. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
