Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments, critically evaluating each client’s trauma history to pinpoint effective treatment paths.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients through therapeutic processes.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to explore their trauma, identify coping mechanisms, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure that clients receive integrated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and immediate access to resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients suffering from various trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clientele ranges from children to adults, providing you with a diverse population to engage with and support through their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-building frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits\n
