Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories, determining the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, ensuring each plan aligns with the individual needs and goals of the patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patients through their healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a safe space for patients to process their trauma and cultivate coping skills.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Be prepared to offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve helping trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse range of clients from varying backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care and recognizing the unique realities each patient faces.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services, particularly in trauma-informed care settings.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and relevant clinical applications.

• Ability to work successfully as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a collaborative approach in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
