This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with a supportive team of professionals dedicated to trauma-informed care. Our flexible work hours typically run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, some scheduling adjustments may be required based on patient needs to ensure optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that delve into patients' trauma histories and inform individualized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care for patients, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are addressed.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and collected demeanor under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation as required by legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and engage in continuous professional development related to trauma-informed care.

• Consistently stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our focus is on creating a nurturing environment where patients feel safe to share their experiences and engage in the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience strongly preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and provide a supportive presence for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is essential.

• A collaborative spirit, willing to engage as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
