This position will be primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space while still collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with us, your daily functions will include:

• Conducting in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients' trauma histories and inform tailored treatment strategies.

• Designing and executing individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and resilience, adapting as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate profound healing.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing their trauma, coping with their emotional distress, and instilling hope for the future.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, thereby enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support for clients during trauma-related emergencies or urgent scenarios.

• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources that can aid in their healing processes.

• Ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of patient documentation while adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on advancing our trauma-informed practice.

• Staying current with the latest developments in trauma therapy techniques and best practices to continually enhance treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. It is crucial to approach this work with sensitivity, understanding the unique challenges these patients face while promoting resilience and coping skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a strong focus on trauma-informed care.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with clients and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is mandatory, we strongly prefer candidates who have extensive experience in trauma-informed therapy practices. Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
