Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our client base includes survivors of physical, emotional, and psychological abuse, as well as individuals dealing with the effects of adverse childhood experiences. The focus on trauma recovery enables you to guide clients through their healing journeys, fostering both individual resilience and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience working in mental health settings.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, therapeutic approach to client interactions.

• Ability to navigate high-stress situations while maintaining a calm demeanor and professional demeanor.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology necessary for telehealth delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years of experience specifically in trauma-focused therapies and interventions is preferred, along with strong familiarity with resilience-building techniques and approaches. Experience in crisis intervention, as well as knowledge of community resources related to trauma recovery, is also beneficial for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
