Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, utilizing standardized assessment tools to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, leveraging evidenced-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and cultivate resilience.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention in instances of trauma-related emergencies to safeguard patient well-being.

• Promote education by informing patients and their families about trauma responses and available supportive resources.

• Ensure meticulous record-keeping through electronic health record (EHR) systems, upholding both legal and ethical documentation standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions that shape our trauma-informed care practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest research and therapy techniques in the trauma treatment field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other life-altering events. You will work closely with a diverse client base, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering a supportive atmosphere where healing is prioritized.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or psychologist in the state of California.
