This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a close-knit team that prioritizes mental health and well-being. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling based on patient needs. You will have access to advanced digital platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline your work process and maximize patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable clients to process trauma and build effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with valuable resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in case consultations, participate actively in team meetings, and commit to ongoing professional development in trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, with a keen focus on those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your approach will be rooted in empathy, fostering a non-judgmental space for clients to share their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledgeable about trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to approach clients with compassion and understanding.

• Capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations and exhibit strong crisis management skills.
\n
• Proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to function effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

We value professionals who have hands-on experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as this will significantly enhance the level of care we provide to our clients. Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with community health initiatives are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
