Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating clients' trauma histories while identifying effective treatment interventions.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that target trauma recovery and promote resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma, establish effective coping strategies, and encourage personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for every client.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educate clients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their healing journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance.

• Engage in weekly case consultations and team meetings while actively pursuing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on recent research, advancements, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with the aftereffects of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your approach will encompass not only the therapeutic treatment of these issues but also the education and empowerment of clients and their families throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment protocols.
\n
• Demonstrable experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
\n
• Exceptional communication abilities with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress clinical situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of post-licensure experience, candidates with a proven track record in trauma counseling or specialized certifications in trauma therapy, such as EMDR, will be highly regarded. Experience in conducting group therapy sessions is also favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n
