Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processes for emotional healing and skill acquisition in coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute emotional distress.
\n
• Provide education to patients and their families concerning trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines regarding patient care.

• Engage in case consultations, participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role revolves around supporting individuals who have endured traumatic experiences, including those diagnosed with PTSD and other related disorders. You will be instrumental in building trusting relationships with patients, enabling them to share their experiences and participate actively in their recovery journeys. Your skills will directly contribute to their emotional healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, preferably in trauma-focused therapy.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions with compassion and effectiveness.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Adept at remaining calm and composed in high-stress environments, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
