Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Serenity Counseling Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough and empathetic assessments for clients via video chat, ensuring a safe space for open dialogue.

• Employing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that prioritize the well-being and progress of clients.

• Facilitating the development of insights into clients' experiences, emotions, and relationships to promote self-awareness.

• Monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary to support their coping strategies and overall mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be primarily on stable, low-acuity adult clients who present with a variety of mental health needs. Your role will directly contribute to enhancing their quality of life by equipping them with vital skills and coping mechanisms to navigate challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state-issued mental health counseling license to practice independently, including credentials such as: \n

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  \n
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  \n

• No limited or provisional licenses. No disciplinary actions are permitted.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.

• Technical proficiency, including computer literacy and effective use of video conferencing tools, as well as reliable internet connection.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with at least two years of relevant experience working with diverse populations and specific knowledge of school-based mental health services will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your expertise and contributions, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 per year, based on your working hours and experience. Additionally, full-time counselors will benefit from:
