Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Implement proven therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting approaches based on the specific needs of each client.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records that comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to ensure client confidentiality and uphold ethical practices.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning by participating in multidisciplinary team meetings with school staff and other mental health professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care.

• Facilitate regular case consultations and participate in peer review sessions to support ongoing professional growth and improve treatment outcomes.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, fostering an understanding of mental health issues and available local resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents in the school setting who are navigating various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. You will adapt your therapeutic strategies to cater to the developmental stages and unique circumstances of each student, ensuring that interventions are both age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Active licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Proficiency in providing solution-focused therapy and employing tailored interventions for individual client needs.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving to help clients achieve positive therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
