Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans to effectively address those needs.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique requirements and therapeutic goals.

• Setting achievable therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, employing frequent progress monitoring to adapt treatment as necessary.

• Providing teletherapy options to accommodate clients who prefer virtual sessions or face mobility challenges, ensuring continued access to care.

• Maintaining accurate and updated documentation according to ethical and regulatory standards, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism and client confidentiality.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through training and workshops to enhance clinical skills and remain up-to-date with the best practices in mental health care.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and a variety of life transitions. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• A strong foundation of empathy and a non-judgmental approach to effectively assist clients in navigating their challenges.

• Organizational and time-management skills conducive to managing a caseload efficiently while providing quality care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working in a community health setting or those familiar with trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers competitive annual compensation ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide:
