Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to engage with patients through a telehealth platform, providing flexibility and accessibility to both you and those you serve. While our therapists primarily work from the comfort of their homes, they are part of a thriving outpatient practice that values collaboration, open communication, and continual professional development. Our work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adjust based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, experiences, and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individual, family, and group therapy settings.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, various treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency trainings.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A strong foundation in understanding mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on inclusivity and responsiveness to diverse client needs.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in delivering culturally responsive therapy in diverse community settings will be given preference.
