Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, assessing severity, frequency, and duration to tailor treatment plans for each client.

• Work collaboratively with clients to establish personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs, objectives, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, offering information on treatment options and self-care strategies essential for recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly, fostering a responsive approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
