Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility that enables you to deliver therapy services from a comfortable setting. All services are rendered within a school facility context, allowing you to engage with a distinctive patient population. You'll work closely with school staff and administrators to ensure a seamless integration of mental health support within educational settings, promoting a holistic approach to student well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, tailoring approaches as necessary to suit diverse client needs.

• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to gauge client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies, honing in on issues like substance abuse and mental health disorders.
\n
• Collaborate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings to contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies and to ensure all facets of a client’s health are addressed.

• Supervise and mentor Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, providing guidance as they develop their professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with individuals facing complex emotional and psychological challenges, especially those struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Your expertise will enable you to forge connections with clients and guide them through therapeutic processes aimed at improving their quality of life. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact on those in need of support within the school population, directly contributing to their academic success and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted license with the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• At least three years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting is necessary.

• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience specifically focusing on mood disorders and evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong communication skills and ability to connect meaningfully with clients from various backgrounds and cultures.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting the expertise and experience that you bring to our team.
