This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements that cater to the needs of both our therapists and clients. Although you will largely work from home, you will have access to our outpatient office in Sunnyvale, where client interactions and collaborative team meetings will take place, ensuring a blended approach that fosters community engagement and professional support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique challenges and circumstances of older adults, utilizing a variety of evidence-based assessment tools.

• Develop and implement detailed individualized treatment plans that address the cognitive, emotional, and physical health needs of each client, considering their social circumstances and support systems.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to effectively address geriatric psychiatric conditions.

• Engage in collaborative practices with geriatric psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers to ensure seamless coordination of care tailored to each client’s holistic health needs.

• Lead educational workshops and one-on-one discussions to inform clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations, adhering to ethical standards of practice in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on providing comprehensive mental health services to older adults navigating various challenges, such as cognitive decline, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. You will retain a patient-centered approach, striving to not only meet their therapeutic needs but also to build trust and rapport with clients and their families, ensuring a supportive path towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting experience and expertise.
