The successful candidate will hold an active professional license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Key Responsibilities\n

This position involves a range of responsibilities designed to support our clients and enhance their therapeutic experience. Key tasks include:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, tailoring each approach to meet the unique needs of the client.
\n
• Performing comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and are regularly updated to reflect the client’s evolving needs.
\n
• Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to holistic treatment strategies across various disciplines and foster integrated care.

• Providing supervision and mentorship to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, supporting them in their professional development and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client focus includes children and adolescents navigating complex challenges related to substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role demands a nuanced understanding of the developmental needs of young clients, along with the ability to establish rapport and trust. Your expertise will guide students toward healthier coping mechanisms and better overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• A valid and current license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, with a strong emphasis on working with youth populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders and their treatment.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment frameworks, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals.

• A proven track record of effective treatment outcomes in youth mental health.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
