Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop detailed and individualized treatment plans addressing their specific mental health needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, therapeutic options, and self-care strategies designed to enhance mental health.

• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimum outcomes.

• Engage in active collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments pertinent to mood disorders to apply new knowledge to treatment strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a track record of effective treatment for mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, facilitating collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually for full-time employees.
