Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine individual mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Provide tailored individual therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices.

• Set realistic therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and consistently monitor their progress towards achieving these objectives.

• Utilize teletherapy options to ensure accessibility for clients facing mobility or geographic constraints.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and client progress, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and best practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population represents a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences. Therapists at General Hope Counseling Center will work with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Each counselor plays a crucial role in establishing a therapeutic alliance that encourages clients to express themselves openly and overcome their difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong capacity for empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple caseloads, and maintain organizational responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience levels may vary, we favor candidates with demonstrated experience in providing therapy to diverse populations and those who are familiar with telehealth technologies. Prior involvement in trauma-informed care and specific therapies such as EMDR or play therapy can enhance a candidate’s fit for our practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additionally, therapists will benefit from:
