Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and document detailed case histories from the initial consultation through the completion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health extensively, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate and lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Track and monitor client progress consistently throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.

• Follow up with clients' healthcare providers regarding any relevant hospital admissions or changes in client status.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and intervene proactively to mitigate behaviors that hinder progress.

• Extend support and resources to family members and primary caregivers, helping them to better manage mental and behavioral health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a broad spectrum of clients from various backgrounds, each seeking support for an array of challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, stress management, and relationship issues. Understanding the cultural, social, and socioeconomic factors that affect your clients' mental health will be crucial in providing effective and compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is necessary.

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing expertise in therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to manage client data efficiently.

• Familiarity with mental health conditions, including substance use disorders, trauma response, and comorbidities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
