Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting findings according to best practices.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that are evidence-based and client-centered.

• Monitor and assess client progress at regular intervals to ensure treatment objectives are being met and to make necessary adjustments to care plans.

• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and social workers, to coordinate care for clients requiring additional support.

• Provide ongoing support and resources to family members and caregivers, helping them to understand and manage their loved one’s mental health challenges.

• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and integrate new insights into practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a variety of client demographics, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship conflicts. Your role is crucial in guiding clients towards recovery and resilience. By understanding their unique backgrounds, you will craft personalized interventions that resonate with their experiences and promote healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is required.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, specifically in a telehealth setting, is advantageous.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

• Experience dealing with co-occurring disorders, including underlying physical health conditions and addiction.

• Knowledge and adherence to the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) ethical standards and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
