Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations by engaging with clients to assess their psychological, emotional, and behavioral health from the initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Develop detailed and personalized treatment plans tailored to the client's unique needs and circumstances, whether they are individuals, couples, families, or groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic approaches to enhance client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to optimize recovery.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care plans and follow up on clients who may require hospitalization.

• Identify and address barriers to recovery, working to prevent behaviors that can hinder progress.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers to help them navigate mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document client interactions comprehensively and clearly.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that convey a sympathetic and empathetic demeanor, allowing for an effective therapeutic alliance with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated previous experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to manage documentation and client care efficiently.

• Experience in dealing with a variety of emotional and physical health conditions, as well as addiction issues.

• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects, as prescribed by other medical specialists.

• Awareness of best practices recommended by the AMHCA.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Restoring Resilience Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
