Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and meticulously document client cases from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of their treatment journey.

• Evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing appropriate assessment tools and techniques to inform your therapeutic approach.

• Create tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups that address their unique mental health challenges.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue, fostering healing and support among participants.
\n
• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other mental health specialists, medical doctors, and caregivers to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provision follow-up support, liaising with psychiatrists and primary care physicians for clients who may require hospitalization.
\n
• Identify behaviors that hamper recovery and formulate strategies to mitigate these challenges.

• Offer support and guidance to families and caregivers in managing the complexities of mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our practice is particularly focused on accommodating clients from various backgrounds, understanding the unique challenges they face, and tailoring our therapeutic strategies to meet their specific cultural and personal needs. Your ability to relate to and empathize with clients will be crucial in establishing trust and facilitating their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• Proven success on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated prior experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to streamline assessment and care processes.
\n
• Knowledge of physical health and emotional issues, including addiction disorders, is preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices published by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with the ability to connect and engage with clients empathetically.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that support a client-focused approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient settings or remote counseling environments is a plus.

• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with your experience and qualifications, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
