Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions with clients to provide mental health assessments and individualized treatment plans.

• Engage clients in discussions about their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, guiding them to gain insights into their personal experiences and relationships.

• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them articulate their personal goals and aspirations while providing support and guidance along their journey.

• Perform in-depth assessments of clients’ mental health conditions and develop tailored, solution-focused treatment plans based on best practices and current clinical knowledge.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to address complex emotional and behavioral issues, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges but are stable and classified as low-acuity. This allows for effective assessment and therapeutic intervention without the immediate risk often associated with high-acuity populations. You will work collaboratively with clients who are committed to improving their mental health and are motivated to engage in the counseling process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid independent license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Strong computer literacy skills, as you will be using various telehealth platforms and electronic health records in your practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in conducting therapy via telehealth or online platforms is highly desirable.

• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans based on individual client needs and strengths.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention and case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked. In addition to the salary, our full-time counselors benefit from a monthly healthcare stipend.
