Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care while ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. While you will work primarily from home, our dedicated team meets regularly for case consultations and team meetings, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that enhances patient care. With a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be needed based on patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and shape effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized and comprehensive treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and support of patients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with current research and best practices in trauma therapy through internal training sessions and external workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base encompassing individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Your primary focus will be on helping those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders to navigate their mental health challenges and achieve sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and trauma-related disorders.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and possess strong computer skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to therapy and patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-impacted clients.

• Proven experience utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Adept at remaining calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring the patient's needs are prioritized.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
