Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, ensuring you develop tailored and effective treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, enhance coping mechanisms, and support overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s health are addressed.

• Offer crisis intervention services when emergencies arise, providing immediate support to patients in need.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work directly with a diverse range of clients, primarily those who have experienced trauma. Our patient population includes individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma narratives, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a trauma-focused population.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress and crisis situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
