Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, developing detailed treatment plans based on client evaluations and documented histories.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health regularly, tailoring interventions to meet specific needs.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and groups, utilizing evidence-based techniques.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses—to create comprehensive care strategies.

• Provide ongoing support and follow-ups, particularly for clients needing additional medical intervention.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and navigating mental health challenges and recovery processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Pyramid Care Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey complex information clearly.
