Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and administer standardized screening tools to evaluate clients’ mental health needs effectively.

• Gather comprehensive information on clients’ mental health history, including behavioral health, substance use, and trauma, to ensure accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment.

• Develop individual treatment plans collaboratively with clients, focusing on identified mental health symptoms and unique challenges they face.

• Utilize culturally competent and trauma-informed practices during therapy sessions to provide clinically effective services.

• Coordinate care through making essential referrals to community resources and assisting clients in prioritizing their mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families, within an outpatient setting. You will address various mental health conditions and challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the specific cultural and individual needs of clients will be a critical aspect of your work.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Must hold an active California license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of therapy experience, particularly in crisis counseling and working with diverse populations in an outpatient setting.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to document clinical notes accurately and empathetically.

• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to make informed decisions under pressure.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in using telehealth platforms for therapy sessions and understanding of telehealth best practices.

• Familiarity with community mental health resources in the Corona, California area.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
