Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As you engage with clients through teletherapy, you will have access to an array of digital tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems that facilitate seamless communication and documentation. The work environment promotes collaboration with fellow therapists and mental health professionals, enhancing the therapeutic experience for both practitioners and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in their recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall mental wellness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to create a coordinated care plan that addresses the complex needs of each patient.

• Provide essential crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing education to remain abreast of current trends in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma and suffer from related psychological disorders. This may include adults and adolescents coping with PTSD, complex trauma symptoms, or dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
