Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ backgrounds and develop customized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that provide support and coping strategies for trauma recovery.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support, guiding patients through trauma-related emergencies with sensitivity and skill.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms to encourage informed participation in treatment.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with adults experiencing various trauma-related challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
