Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed patient histories and inform personalized treatment plans.

• Develop and enforce individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process traumatic experiences and enhance their coping strategies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and various resources available for support and healing.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation that adheres to ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate proactively in team meetings to uphold the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele who have endured significant trauma. These individuals often struggle with complex emotional and psychological issues related to their experiences, such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and disassociation. Your role will be pivotal in creating customized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs, fostering resilience and recovery through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Nevada is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential.

• Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused therapeutic approaches and interventions.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations, efficiently assessing and responding to client needs.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technological applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
