Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify individual treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with essential coping strategies and support as they process their trauma experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and support for all patients, enhancing the quality of treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for continued support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with clients suffering from trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and complex trauma, creating a supportive space for them to share their experiences and navigate their healing process. Our clientele encompasses a diverse age range and backgrounds, enhancing the richness and relevance of therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid New Jersey license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed approaches and intervention techniques is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
