Work Environment\n

This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while remaining integrated within a robust clinical team. Your working hours will generally be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility as needed to accommodate patient appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patient backgrounds and identify the most effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience tailored to each patient's unique situation.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in managing and overcoming their trauma-related challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide patients through processing trauma, developing adaptive coping strategies, and fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring their mental health needs are met holistically.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients during trauma-related emergencies while maintaining composure and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation following legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities, with a proven ability to apply interventions effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to clients from all walks of life.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
