Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions through our advanced telehealth platform. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility will be required based on the individual needs of our patients. You will be part of a collaborative online team, engaging regularly with fellow professionals to provide the most effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, tailoring exceptional treatment approaches to their unique circumstances.

• Develop and implement comprehensive and individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Drive therapeutic progress through structured individual and group therapy sessions, focused on processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and supporting healing.

• Maintain close collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care and to execute effective crisis interventions in trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources to enhance recovery.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about current research trends and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary responsibility will be to serve adults and adolescents who are survivors of trauma. These individuals often display symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, reflecting a range of backgrounds and experiences. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their healing journey and achieve their personal goals through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal skills along with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach when engaging with clients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology.

• Capability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings working with trauma populations is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
