Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to establish effective treatment plans.

• Create individualized intervention strategies and recovery plans for a variety of demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that each plan is tailored to the client's unique experiences and needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress throughout the duration of their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to enhance integrated care and ensure continuity of client treatment.

• Provide referrals for additional services when necessary, including support programs and specialists, to further assist client recovery.
\n
• Engage family members and primary caregivers to provide support strategies and facilitate understanding around mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele facing a multitude of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Possess an active licensure as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience working in mental health counseling with a focus on psychotherapeutic techniques.

• Familiarity with electronic health records systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage client documentation efficiently.

• Experience dealing with co-occurring disorders and a nuanced understanding of drug effects on mental health.

• Knowledge of best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with an empathetic and client-centered approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus for exceptional candidates.
