Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, ensuring thorough documentation from intake to discharge.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to support client growth and resilience.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure cohesive care delivery.

• Manage client referrals effectively, connecting individuals with the appropriate resources and support services.

• Support family members and caregivers by providing guidance on mental health issues and strategies for managing client behaviors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a myriad of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will play a pivotal role in fostering resilience and enhancing individual coping strategies, ultimately working towards improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor with a strong desire to help others achieve mental wellness.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience using AVATAR or similar platforms.
