Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth technology. The flexible work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some adjustments may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. You will join a collaborative and supportive team focused on best practices in trauma treatment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ trauma histories and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance emotional well-being.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for every patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, develop coping mechanisms, and introduce various resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring secure management of sensitive information.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and innovations in trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The typical client population you will serve includes individuals recovering from a wide range of traumatic experiences, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other significant life stressors. Your work will greatly contribute to their healing process, helping clients navigate their emotions, reconnect with their identities, and achieve long-term mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-enhancement techniques.
\n
• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a record of successful client outcomes.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a warm, understanding, and non-judgmental environment for clients.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and respond effectively to crisis scenarios.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
\n
• Collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of experience specifically in trauma-informed care and trauma-focused therapeutic practices.

• A solid background in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans catered to trauma-affected individuals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
