Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans that align with best practices and client goals.

• Provide individual therapy and counseling sessions, facilitating a supportive environment that encourages open communication and emotional expression.

• Collaborate with families to educate them on mental health issues, treatment options, and ways to best support their loved ones’ recovery processes.

• Coordinate care by making referrals to community resources, including schools and social services, to address the holistic needs of clients.

• Develop and implement group therapy programs when applicable, focusing on substance abuse, trauma recovery, and interpersonal relationships.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on children, adolescents, and their families, primarily serving clients experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. The therapist will be equipped to address the unique needs of diverse backgrounds and circumstances, including those in educational settings and those involved in the juvenile justice system.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Current California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing counseling and therapeutic services.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, therapeutic interventions, and the latest developments in the mental health field.

• Proficient in utilizing telehealth technology for service delivery and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
