Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, diagnoses, and create tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring that ongoing documentation adheres to established company policies and guidelines.

• Provide individual therapy sessions while also having the potential to conduct family, marriage, and group counseling sessions based on your expertise and interests.

• Administer mental health screenings and assessments to identify clients' treatment needs effectively, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide your interventions.

• Collaborate with colleagues and refer clients to other professionals or community resources when additional support is necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in mental health care.

• Document treatment progress, case notes, and treatment plan reviews accurately and in a timely manner to support quality care and compliance.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by leadership that align with your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, your clientele will include individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Strong understanding of and adherence to ethical guidelines in mental health care practice.

• Excellent people skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and families.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with clients facing mental and behavioral health challenges, including familiarity with individual and group therapy methods.

• Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment and substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.

• Previous work with children, adolescents, and families is preferred, as this role will cater to a diverse client demographic.

• Knowledge of current trends, techniques, and interventions in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually.
