Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients experiencing a mental health crisis, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and appropriate treatment pathways.

• Providing on-site therapeutic interventions, which require responding to crises alongside first responders, ensuring clients receive immediate support during critical situations.

• Leading a dispatched mobile crisis team, offering clinical guidance, and overseeing the assessment and intervention procedures to maintain high standards of care.

• Collaborating with community resources and other healthcare providers to make appropriate referrals for case management and aftercare services to ensure seamless continuation of care.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local resources, services, and support systems available to help facilitate client recovery and integration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Anderson Valley, you will work with a diverse population including individuals facing mental health crises, families in conflict, and couples seeking to improve their relationships. Your expertise will extend to clients with various needs, particularly those struggling with co-occurring mental health disorders, adolescents facing transitional difficulties, and families needing guidance and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Active licensure in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC is essential for this role.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or related fields.

• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to handle complex emotional situations with tact and professionalism.
