Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement clinical treatment programs tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on both acute and chronic mental health conditions.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to evaluate and adjust treatment strategies based on ongoing client progress.

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy services through individual, couples, family, and group sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and growth.

• Prepare and maintain accurate intake summaries, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards.

• Participate actively in departmental staff meetings to discuss treatment plans, evaluate therapy outcomes, and share best practices with colleagues.

• Collaborate with physicians to screen and evaluate patients for psychotropic medication as part of a comprehensive treatment approach.

• Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows and Associate Clinical Social Workers, if qualified, ensuring they develop their clinical skills and engage in professional growth.

• Offer guidance and support to family members of clients, equipping them with tools and understanding to foster successful treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including both adults and children struggling with a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will be vital in establishing trust and rapport, enabling effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Proven experience in providing therapeutic support in a clinical setting, particularly in a telehealth environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and working within multidisciplinary teams will be given preference. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous.
