Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, providing a foundation for effective treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment strategies that encompass their unique goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide interventions and promote healing.

• Educate clients and their families on the intricacies of mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to foster empowerment and resilience.

• Continuously monitor client progress, implementing adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, thus ensuring optimal outcomes throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will provide compassionate and targeted therapeutic services to individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.
