Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide ongoing education to clients and their families, informing them about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as required to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive, integrated care for our clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research on mood disorders and treatment methodologies to apply best practices in clinical work.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records of assessments and treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience working with clients facing learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social/emotional disorders is essential.

• A clear understanding of California laws and professional ethics relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Ability to pass a background check conducted by the FBI and DOJ.
\n
• A current TB test within the last six months.
\n

• At least three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, specifically in assessing and treating mood disorders.
